The goal back in 2010 was to bring a new kind of lens to market – one with no boundaries. Our timeline is endless, and we’ll continue to innovate with new lens designs that are easy to dispense and raise the bar for quality.

Expansion of lens portfolio includes Single Vision, Progressive, and Computer Vision designs.

Unity launches Mobile Lens designs.

SunSync Light-Reactive Lenses launch to provide a photochromic option for Unity Lenses.

Unity launches Mobile Lens designs.

TechShield AR coatings launches to provide enhanced AR options for Unity Lenses.

2016

TechShield Blue launches to provide a blue light reducing AR coating, further enhancing Unity options.

2017

Unity Via Progressive Lenses Launch at VEE.

2018

Unity expands the lens portfolio with the launch of Unity Via OfficePro lenses and Unity Relieve Single Vision lenses. Launched SunSync Drive XT, and SunSync Elite – the first ultra-fast photochromic.

2019-2022

2019

Launched SunSync Elite XT adding extra-dark to ultra-fast.

2020

Next generation Unity Via Progressives begins to enhance performance based on ECP input regarding common progressive lens pain points.

2021

Launched second generation SunSync Elite and Elite XT.

Spring 2022

Unity Via II launches, built on the foundation of Unity Via Progressives, with added technology to support demanding everyday lifestyles – OptiScreen, InnoVue, EquiBalance.

Summer 2022

Unity Via Elite II surpasses Unity Via Elite as the top selling premium progressive in the VSP Network.
