This was a finalist in the Unity Via Victories contest. Voting ended on December 31, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. pacific time. When working with a very loyal patient of our practice, I noticed she had been in five different lenses in the past 10 years. I thought that seemed like a red flag, so I asked "How are you liking your current lenses? Have they been feeling better than the lenses you've had in the past?" She replied with a simple "They're ok, but I definitely have an adjustment period that takes a while to get used to them."
So, after talking to her about how many adjustments she's had to have on her frames, and why she hasn't liked certain lenses in the past, I decided to have her try the Unity® Via Plus with the TechShield® Elite Anti-Reflective coating. I told her that a lot of patients love these lenses because they are incredibly clear and easy to wear. She decided to try them. When the glasses came back, she came in to pick them up. When she put them on, she said "Wow! I can see everything so clearly!" I had her look around, walk around, read a couple of sample sheets to make sure there was no distortion, etc. and she had zero issues. She thanked me profusely and said she would never switch to any other lens again! This was great to hear because the trust I have in Unity lenses has increased substantially. I recommend this lens more, and I am so happy with the great results I have been able to experience with our patients. Thanks Unity!
