Unity Via Victories Contest Finalist: 'Tears of Joy'

I admit I was very skeptical at first. And, of course, everyone says their progressives are the best. Our Rep Jeff suggested that I try them myself first. So, I ordered the Unity® Via Elite Progressive Lenses with the TechShield® Elite Anti-Reflective Coating in Trivex®. I had zero issues adjusting—my vision is clear and crisp. I had an additional pair made into sunglasses for our Florida trips.

So, moving forward, the big test was switching all my patients to Unity Via Elite Progressives. It is all presentation, education, and confidence.

I had a gentleman, Don, who had not worn progressives in 10 years. After providing education and my views on wearing them myself, he said he would give them a try. One week later, he comes in, nervous to try them. As Don gently slides them on, he looks up at me with tears. My heart sank. “Is everything ok?” I asked. Don leans over to touch my hand and says “I can see! My close-up vision is so clear and my distance is sharp.” Don walked out with a huge smile.

His wife came in a week later for an appointment and said that Don couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic his glasses were, and she wanted the same.
